The AURORA MODULAR SYSTEM light towers are generated from the library screen modules.

These modular objects are part of the first set of home objects designed by Alexis Martial and Adrien Caillaudaud. Presented in 2023 at the Collectible exhibition in New York, Brussels, at the Milan Design Fair and at Paris Design Week. It is a set in laser-cut aluminum in France with a hand-oiled finish. The collection is imagined as a construction game for children in XXL version.

The system is based on the assembly and interweaving of raw aluminum plates which allows the creation of several objects: a bookcase with modular shelves, a screen, a coffee table, decorative chairs, light towers, etc. It is also published in 2024 in a miniature version to create, on the same principle, candlesticks, vases, lamps, etc. Each object has its own specific assembly method.

Details

The light tower is made up of two or three modules that stack on top of each other. Black, non-slip rubber pods are inserted into the four legs of the modules.

The light is attached to the back of each oval plate inserted into the front of the modules. The flat circular LED bulbs are dimmable by remote control. (supplied with the light towers)
