Aurora Modular System

The bookcase / screen is the first assembly object for the home designed by Alexis Martial and Adrien Caillaudaud. Presented in 2023 at the Collectible exhibition in New York, Brussels, at the Milan Design Fair and at Paris Design Week. It is a set in laser-cut aluminum in France with a hand-oiled finish. The collection is imagined as a construction game for children in XXL version.

The system is based on the assembly and interweaving of raw aluminum plates which allows the creation of several objects: a bookcase with modular shelves, a screen, a coffee table, decorative chairs, etc. It is also published in 2024 in a miniature version to create, on the same principle, candlesticks, vases, lamps, etc. Each object has its own specific assembly method.
